 Every blockbuster movie means blockbuster merchandising profits for the movie studios (they hope).  The new Superman is no exception - although when you’re as well-established as Superman there’s already a ton of merchandise out there, so all the great ideas (like Superman potty training charts) have probably already been done. 

Well, not quite.  In addition to the new Superman lunch box, how about a Superman trailer hitch cover plug?  (There are matching floor mats and a steering wheel cover for your car, too.) Or a Superman iPod case from XtremeMac - now there’s something you couldn’t have bought when the Christopher Reeve Superman movie came out.
