Radio-Controlled Vehicle made from Cordless Screwdrivers
Published by Noel July 16th, 2006 in DIYNo money for an RC? Just by two 10$ cordless screwdrivers, some scavenged old R/C Controller, two servos and 4 microswitches and you are ready to go.

This guy’s idea was great. These cheap cordless screwdrivers has a self-contained gearmotor with rechargeable power supply perfect for running wheels. The result is this DIY RC toy without using any of those fancy drive motor control, just switches.
This guy created a detailed How-To construction guide for this project. He showed the actual screwdriver, the inside of the screw driver, how he constructed the base, how to mount the drive components, the wheels, everything.
Lots of pictures too!
