Apple’s New “Mighty Mouse” - With The Tail Removed
Published by John July 25th, 2006 in Computer Accessories
The Apple mouse goes wireless. Apple’s rolling out its new (but long talked-about) Bluetooth-enabled Mighty Mouse that promises up to 30 feet of connectivity. It’s about the same size as the Apple Pro Mouse.
Like the original wired Mighty Mouse, the top shell is touch-sensitive - no buttons, the mouse detects left- and right-clicks (wow, two choices on an Apple mouse!) without actually clicking anything. Its laser tracking system promises 20 times the accuracy of optical scanning.
It operates with either one or two AA batteries. $69.
And yes - Apple got permission from the rightsholders of the Mighty Mouse character.
