When you’re out in the sun, you’d probably like to know when you’re done “baking” yourself, so you won’t burn.  Now the Canadian swimwear company Solestrom is incorporating a digital UV exposure meter right into a bikini, called SmartSwim. 

The meter itself is part of a detachable belt (so if you’re wearing the bikini indoors, for instance, you can leave off the meter).  The belt is also reversible, so you don’t have to leave the meter showing (and look like a geek).  The 100% Lycra bikini comes in black, white, and techno-silver.  Runs on lithium CR2025 camera-style batteries.

Science comes to bikinis.  It’s a beautiful thing.
