TomTom ONE Tells You WhereWhere To Get OffOff

TomTom has built a solid reputation at or near the high end of consumer GPS products. The new-to-North-America TomTom ONE is meant to be more of an entry level GPS unit. However, at $500, it’s at the high end of the entry-level.
But TomTom ONE really has a lot going for it: a one-inch thick form factor, 3.5 inch QVGA touchscreen, and the ability access TomTom’s high end extra features including real time traffic and weather updates. Seems to me the new TomTom ONE is most likely to cannibalize sales from TomTom’s higher-end product line.
Meanwhile, anyone who owns a Treo smartphone might want to consider the new TomTom Navigator offering, just announced by Palm.
