LG Means Large: 60-inch PC1D Plasma Display w/DVR
Published by John September 17th, 2006 in TV
LG’s newest 60-inch plasma screen is promising a lot: Great high-def pictures from high-def content and improved analog picture quality, delivered by its new XD engine. Its 1080p capability, 7,000:1 contrast ratio and dual HDMI inputs make it a top-drawer competitor - and its built-in digital video recorder offers a neat one-box solution for your home theater. Its DVR can record up to 13 hours of high-def content or 63 hours of digital standard def programs.
LG is also bragging about the price point - $5,399 puts it well below the $6k price barrier for this size plasma screen.
If you’d like to think a little smaller, LG is also rolling out a 50-inch plasma with DVR, the 50PC1DRA, with a similar feature set, for $3,699.
