A great way to start a fire in any weather, at any altitude, is by using this Swedish FireSteel. It generates a 3,000°C spark even if its wet. This gadget was originally developed for the Swedish Department of Defense and is now being used by a number of armies around the world.
Due to its dependability, it is now becoming a favorite tool for survival experts, campers, fishermen, hunters, and even for backyard barbecues.
