It’s the season for booga-booga Halloween gifts like this one and this one. 

And this one, from our not-generally-frightening friends at National Geographic.  These remote-control tarantulas are presented in natural colors with legs that move individually, providing an all-too-realistic experience.

If the look on someone’s face (or the scream they’ll let out) is worth $48, we say go for it.  But beware - sheer terror has been known to cause people to squish these things before realizing it’s just another one of your tacky practical jokes.
