Can The Noise For Less: JVC HP-NC80 Headphones
Published by John October 20th, 2006 in Others
When it comes to noise-canceling headphones there are the very-pricey-but-effective Bose Quiet Comfort models, then there are the cheaper-but-not-as-good models from everyone else.
JVC may be ready to challenge Bose with its new HP-NC80s.  With a dynamic range of 10Hz to 22kHz, they promise a reduction in ambient noise by as much as 75 percent, while appearing to be reasonably lightweight and comfortable to wear. And probably more comfortable to pay for - expected to be less than $100.Â
But final pricing and availability are still up in the air. Most likely, these cans will be canceling noise for listeners in Japan first.
