Get Out The Tape Measure & The Wallet: LG’s 100 Inch LCD
Published by John November 2nd, 2006 in TV
If you like seeing raccoons the size of rhinos in your living room, LG has just gone into production with its 100 inch LCD TV.
LG has volunteered that each one costs them $150,000 to make. Which means, as Bob Barker used to say, the manufacturer’s suggested retail price will be somewhat higher than that.
For your 150+ big ones you’ll get a 3000:1 contrast ratio and 1080p resolution, naturally.
You may also get a slight case of screen envy when one of your friends buys the new Panasonic 103-inch plasma, which will retail for $69,999.95.
And maybe around about the 22nd Century, we’ll see these puppies on sale at Costco.
