Electrifying Fashion Statement: No-Contact Jacket

This is a different take on feminine protection. The No-Contact Jacket looks, as they used to say on the TV show “Get Smart”, like an ordinary jacket. But concealed in this jacket is an electrified outer sleeve, that, when the wearer activates it, shoots 80,000 volts of electricity at anyone who tries to put his hand on it. (See video demonstration here.)
It’s Teflon-coated to keep rain from lousing it up. And there’s a rubber insulation to protect the wearer from being shocked. Powered by one 9 volt battery. Life of the battery may vary, according to the manufacturer, “depending on usage”. I’ll buy that.
The price is almost as shocking as the jacket: $945.
